Fashion focus : slay in your mom jeans

Hello,

Today it is all about the styling of Mom jeans. Yeaaah girls, these are the famous old-school jeans worn in the 80’s/90’s. These jeans have gotten their name from the fact that they were worn by women that today are mums. These are the jeans of our mothers lol! You can recognize them with their high cut on the waistline, wide hips and tight fit at the ankles. There is no way that you could have missed these jeans as they have become so popular again.

We particularly like this style as they are cut very different from classic slim jeans. It can make your casual outfit stand out and be very flattering. But as you probably know, these jeans highlight your body, so they are not designed to hide your curves, lol.

So we thought we could show you how we like to style  these jeans and share with you little tips to “kill” with your look no matter what your body type you have 😉

Mom Jeans and high heels combined will leave an elegant impression.

Imagine a combination with theses jeans and high-heeled boots. It’s no secret, if you want to feel thinner in these jeans the high-heeled boots will make it happen for you, ahahaha. Boots with thick high heels have the advantage of being super stable and are quite comfortable. Well, do not spend too much time in theses boots like 7-20h, you would regret (your feet will hurt guaranteed – lol). For the more courageous of you, you can also use stilettos and minimalist sandals, they are also excellent options.

Mom Jeans and derbies / moccasins combine for a casual chic look

Yes, you can be chic without necessarily wearing heels. By rolling up the cuff of your jeans, you will be totally on point.

Mom Jeans and sneakers will make you look casual

Sneakers are more fashionable than ever. You have a lot of choices. Combine mom jeans with a pair of Converse or white sneakers for example, you will not make a mistake, trust us ;).

What should you wear your mom jeans with?

Any top you wear, a blouse, a t-shirt, make sure you tuck it into your jeans to accentuate your waistline. Bodysuits go also very well as they hug your body. Do not hesitate to also put on a belt. This will compliment your outfit and mark your waistline.

For which body type?

The old version of the jeans worn by our mum‘s have been updated for us today in our stores. They highlight the waistline when you have an hour-glass shape as well as the more voluptuous body type. The mom jeans high waist cut gives the impression of lengthening the silhouette of the smallest women and adds hips to the thinnest body. Everyone can wear these jeans well, provided you choose one of the combinations we have shared with you.

And so, how do you wear yours?
