GOLDIE top : our collaboration with Sinaï Yaba

We are back on the blog after a few weeks of absence. Yeeeah !
The weather is nice, it’s so hot in here in Paris and we try to enjoy the weather as much as we can.

If you follow us on Instagram and on Youtube (LOOKBOOK), you are probably already aware that we created a top, called GOLDIE in collaboration with the designer Sinai Yaba.
Remember, we had already worn her creations and we had the opportunity to meet her in person to ask her some questions about her brand Sinaï Yaba (Article still available here ?)

To answer all the questions we had in DM concerning the GOLDIE top and the collaboration with Sinaï Yaba, we decided to write an article. It was aslso a good excuse to finally come back here ahah !

• Why this name ?

Simply GOLDIE like Golden Connexion. It’s a shorter version for Golden Connexion ?
We wanted a name that resembles us and easy to remember.

• Where did you get the idea of creating the top?

In fact, we plan to create a brand later.
We already thought to create a top since last winter and when the designer Sinaï Yaba offered us this collaboration, we were more than happy.
We put all our heart into the creation of this top and we sincerely hope you will like it.
We have worn it again and again for several occasions (Miss France DRC election, diner, family meal).
Funny fact :  even our aunts, although super hard to convince, were seduced by the top GOLDIE hahaha. We are already super happy because of that ? ?.

• How did you do to create the top? Steps ?

We made many drawings with Sinai Yaba in order to find a shape that would go to a maximum of women.
We opted for:

• A wrap top to suit all morphologies because women have different silhouettes and we thought that this cut is the one that flatters all breasts.
• Details in wax for a colorful touch
• Openings in the back and on the arms because it is summer

After having designed the top, we did a lot of fitting with a seamstress/maker to get the final prototype that will serve as a model to create the tops of future customers.

• What sizes and colors are available ?

The top is available in black and white in size 34 to 44 (France).

• How to maintain the top?

We advise you to wash it by hand, in cold water.

• How can we get the top ?

The GOLDIE top is available for pre-order on Sinaī Yaba website throughout the month of July.
Reception will be in early August ?.
