Fashion focus : slay wearing polka dot

Hello, hello,

After having shared with you our looks in burgundy (“Slay in burgundy” blogpost), we are back with a new “Fashion focus” post. Indeed today it is all about polka dot print 😉 .

Polka dot prints are not new and are still on trend.

For a casual look, you can choose a printed piece with polka dots (Shirt, t-shirt) and associate it with basics (Skirt, jeans ..). So, you will never make a fashion mistake (What a great tip, right LOL !). Make sure to wear accessories to add some drama on your looks, we will never repeat it enough lol!

For a more appealing look, choose polka dot pants or skirt that you can mix with a off-the-shoulder shirt with ruffles to show a bit of your shoulders. You willmake a real impression on everyone for sure!

The most audacious ones will dare to wear several polka dot prints at the same time or mix them with another print such as stripes for example. It is up to you 😉

Our outfits :

C: is rocking a total polka dot prints look. The polka dots are rather small. Our advice would be to bet on small polka dots prints in case you were a little bit “scared” to wear such prints.
Her white shirt with black dots was purchased on ASOS (Similar here) her brown pants with dark brown polka dots are from ZARA. She also wears a ZARA studded bag and a NEWLOOK necklace to add some “little something” to her shirt. Her sandals are from ASOS (Similar here) but you can opt for loafers that will also do the trick. It’s an ideal outfit to go to work or a professional meeting. Don’t you find the combination on point…?! (Yeaah, we love it too 😉 )

G: has chosen a BOOHOO dress (size 10) made up of a crop top, a bodysuit and a skirt in polka dot that she wears with RECLAIMED VINTAGE shorts shopped on ASOS. In term of accessories, she opted for a black MANGO bag with golden threads, a multi-row bracelet bought on ALIEXPRESS (Believe it or not, there are a lot of statement piece on the website at very (very) affordable prices, it is not a legend lol) and ZARA minimalist sandals with golden heels. An outfit a little more daring that is a little bit different from the ordinary, don’t you think guys 😉 ?
This outfit would also be ideal for an evening party or a dinner with friends.
