Hi there beautiful people!
It has been a while since we have posted anything on the blog, and we must say that we missed doing so a lot, LOL. So how have you been while we were away? Let us know! We want to hear from you!
Alright then, here is the good news for today! We are back with a review of an excellent restaurant we want to recommend for you to discover. We surely think it is worth your while!
This time come and follow us to the “Auberge du Moulin Vert”; a “chic” Parisian restaurant located in the heart of the 14th district of Paris at 34bis rue des Plantes.
The “Auberge du Moulin Vert” is part of the “DORR PARIS” restaurant chain, which we have mentioned to you before in our first article featuring “our favorites spots”.
The design and the scene inside the “Auberge du Moulin Vert” is bright and original! There are sunny verandas, live walls (featuring greenery growing), trees that span the restaurant and also very “green” furniture. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, spreading calmness and sophistication. We must say that the scenery is the complete experience leaving no senses untouched.
The staff made us feel very welcome and we were delighted to discover a menu that was full of delicious choices and ingredients. Dining out is a real passion for us. So when find a restaurant that offers us a completely divine experience; we want to share it with you!
So we started our dining discovery with the following starters: “Creamy burratina with tomato carpaccio, heart of beef pistou and olives Taggiasche” (on request by G, they removed the olives as she does not “do” them – LOL!)
We also tried the “Langoustines demoiselles 16/20” with homemade mayonnaise!
For the main course, we continued with the Grand Bistro “Charolais” beef burger with candied tomatoes, arugula salad, and hand-cut potatoes. The other plate of our choice was the grilled Beef Tenderloin with sauce “Saint Estèque” and gratinated potatoes a la “Dauphinois”.
To finish our culinary journey, we opted for a traditional “Millefeuille” caramel with half-salted butter and a Chocolate cake called “Dark Vador”(LOL) served with Vanilla ice cream made with the best Vanilla beans from Madagascar. How delicious!
We hope that these beautiful images will invite you to give this little Parisian Culinary “Gem” a try next time you are looking for “Eatertainment” in our city! If you do, please tell us what you think about it.
Also, if you think we should try one of your favorite restaurants, please tell us about it and we would be happy to give it a try!
