Paris, our first love

Hey-hey Golden Connexion Family!

It has been a long time since we have posted anything in our blog…. We truly missed it!

First and foremost on our mind are our followers and we hope you all have had a great summer and fall!

Lately we got somewhat lost as we came back from vacation, then back to school and of course work, LOLJ!

We are back with a new story featuring a slightly more seasonal look and feel! Due to our travels we missed quite a bit of this beautiful Parisian weather we had.

Who of our followers spent most of the vacation in our beautiful City? We love to hear from you with your stories!

Paris is our home and we never get bored here with creative and trendy restaurants, grand shopping centers, unique museums and terrific sights to see, there is plenty one to do in our City.

Shopping centers

Our favorite one on the list, serving both ladies and gentlemen is “Les Quatres Temps” in la Defense. It is the one that we usually frequent the most. It is always a pleasure to go there! The space is generous, always well illuminated and full with our favorite shops. What better could you ask for? We also like another shopping center named “Beaugrenelle” in the 15^th district and in addition to that there is also “Créteil soleil”, last but not least the famous Champs Elysées avenue to shop at while admiring this stunning city. If you look carefully, you can always find whatever you are looking for, such as trendy fashion and accessories. No matter if you are looking for women or men!

Restaurants

Next comes our list of favorite restaurants (After fashion, dining is our second passion).

We rediscovered several restaurants in Paris. “Louange” for instance is perfect for lunch or dinner with its cozy, chic and sophisticated atmosphere. Go try it if you can and let us know your thoughts! Other great choices are “Le georges”, “Le convivium”,”Le confidential”, “Le Pietro ristorante”, le “Bianca”, Montparnasse’s creperies and many others. Without a doubt, you will find something in these places to enjoy.

Museums and historical monuments

There are so many choices to go to in Paris. We are a cultural metropolis and rank among the most diverse and artistic capitals in the world. There is the “Louvre” museum, the “Triumph Arc” “ the Notre Dame Cathedra” and also the Louis Vuitton Foundation. One of our personal favorites is the Yves Saint Laurent museum (located in the 16^th district). It features the history of the Haute Couture and is a “must see” for fans of fashion. If you are under 26 years old, enjoy the discount ticket price!

We found ourselves walking in Paris’ streets while enjoying the landscape leading us to the “Bir Hakeim “bridge to say hello to our first love, the “Eiffel tower” – LOL.
