3 good habits to stay motivated to reach your goals

We talked about the importance of setting goals in a previous article “Why You Should Set Goals ?”. A few months have passed since then and the euphoria of the resolutions of the New Year has probably dissipated (Yes, let’s be honest lol). So we thought it would be interesting to go back to the subject by focusing on 3 habits to adopt to stay motivated and reach your goals.

READ DAILY YOUR OBJECTIVES

The human brain receives millions of information every day more or less negative. Add to this all the thoughts that cross our mind and we can get lost quickly. All of this can take you away from what you want to accomplish if you do not pay attention hence the importance of regularly re-read your goals to keep them in mind. The more you re-read your goals, the more your brain will be able to visualize them and the greater the motivation to materialize them.

On the other hand, the desire to give up can also cross our mind at any moment when you find yourself confronted with a difficult situation. Nothing better at this moment than to re-read the “why” that pushes you to start.

MAINTAIN YOUR MOTIVATION

Indeed, faced with failures or simply by not seeing these projects progressing within the deadlines we have set, it is easy to give up. Therefore, it is very important to “feed” our mind with positive information that will take precedence over negative information.

Get inspired by inspiring people: study their journey carefully. Focus particularly on the journeys of those who have achieved goals similar to yours. This could help you to avoid many mistakes. Yes, we learn a lot from the experience of others.

– Read books and / or listen to audio books that will reinforce your positive attitude, even a few pages /a few minutes a day.

Go around with people who also have projects, whether in the same field as you or not. You will feel like you are in the same boat and you will be able to support each other.

DO NOT LISTEN TO OTHERS

“Your time is limited so do not waist it on living someone else’s life. Do not be a prisoner of dogma, which consists in living from the reflections of others. Do not let the opinions of others stifle your inner voice, heart and intuition. Somewhere they already know what you really want to become “- Steve Jobs.

Sad reality! Many people will try to convince you that you are going to the wrong way, that the path you have chosen is not for you or too risky. Prove them the contrary!

Our looks:

These photos were taken by Marie (Instagram, Facebook, Viewbug) at Saint Michel, Paris. The theme was “All black everything” with a reminder of flashy velvet pieces. We have nicknamed this look “the fire outfit” since one of us wears a yellow mustard dress and the other one wears burnt orange boots.

Guys, what do you think?
