5 days in Malaga

Holà qué tal beautiful people ?

We admit that our mood right now is not one of happiness. It is this weather, the coming winter that makes us feel this way. How about you guys? To make things worse, people are telling us that winter has not even started yet, ugh! One more reason to feel depressed if you are like us, in love with summer!

That’s why we post in defiance one more time a blog featuring our summer vacation!

If you follow us on social networks (Instagram / Snapchat – if you don’t, what are you waiting for? Lol!), you know that we went to Malaga in Spain at the end of September for a Golden Connexion getaway.

Malaga is a pretty small city on the Costa del Sol, which features a historic old city and many modern buildings and architecture! It is a Jewel of a city!

The people of Malaga are very kind, warm, and relaxed like many living in the enjoyable climate of the Mediterranean Sea, LOL.

We only stayed for 5 days. To be honest with you, after this trip we were full of get-up-and-go for more travel, we discovered our “Wanderlust”!

The landscape is amazing! The city is touching the Mediterranean Sea, it is only 7-minute walk to get there, and the weather is warm and mild. In short, all the conditions are in check to make you enjoy your stay. We booked an apartment, which was located just about 10 minutes away from the beach, via AirBnB. It was pure bliss!

If you go to Malaga, you absolutely need to go the “bazaar”. You can find anything in these shops! Cool clothes for instance or home decorations, cooking tools etc.… everyone can find something that brings them happiness! To top it all off, you won’t find better prices elsewhere!

We really had to control our shopping urges, as we would have had to bring more suitcases on the trip! We felt at home at the “bazaar” as there were so many cool things for sale!

We did some touristy things as well 😉 ,  like riding through the city in a horse-drawn carriage, which was a ton of fun! With a guide who tried to speak English with us…lol! You can visit the city in an about an hour and a half, or at least the main parts.

The “must see” attraction is definitely the seaport, surrounded by many good restaurants and small cute shops that sell golden (no pun intendedJ) nuggets.

By the way, this is the place where we bought our beautiful bags!

And the food, delicious! We had a memorable dinner in a beautiful restaurant where they suggested a delicious menu to us!

Ooh lalala, we are already missing strolling through the city wearing our skirt/short and sandals. Maybe we should organize another gateway? What do you think about that? Have you got any ideas for future destinations? We want your help with that! Please share your thoughts with us!
