Fashion focus : 3 trends to mix with basics

Hello everyone,

2017 is finally here! Hurraaah

We thought that it would be a cool idea to focus our article on a few trends that we have greatly appreciated lately. Today, it is all about the faux fur coat, the Prince of Wales motif and the “bells” sleeves 😉 OK Let’s go!

The faux fur coat to face winter with style lol

We have already talked about faux fur coat in a lookbook on our youtube channel. Needless to say that there are ALL OVER THE PLACE !! As a matter of fact, it is almost impossible to find a store that does not sell fake fur.
In preference, choose an oversized cut or at least with slightly loose handles.
It is a standout piece that will pull off a coup to any rather simple outfit. To associate with basics clothes such as jeans / skirt / dress / shirt / sweater … You can pick whatever you want as long as their cuts are rather close to the body to balance your outfit. Regarding shoes, opt for sneakers for a casual look, for boots (flat or heel) to accentuate the rock side or even heels for a chic spirit 😉

The Prince of Wales print for a british touch

Borrowed from the men’s dressing, this mixture of tile, stripe and chicken feet will be your shock ally to give a touch of elegance to your outfit. You can find this print on a lot of coats and jackets this winter for our greatest happiness lol.
Here, we dared renewing with the legging (so comfy lol). NO NO NO guys, let’s explain ourselves… It’s not about wearing the legging with a way too short t-shirt like back in the days (2005) haha. Quite the opposite, associated with a long white shirt (the good old basic) to hide what must be hidden lol and that’s it 😉

Sleeves bells to awaken your outfit

More or less flared and voluminous, sleeves bells will not fail to embellish your outfits. It will be difficult to go unnoticed.
Like us, you can choose to wear your top / blouse / jumper with sleeves bells with a mom jean, essential piece to your wardrobe, for a more “old school” look 😉
There are a lot of combinations possible : wearing a blouse with flared sleeves + skirt + derbies / moccasins for a preppy look can also be a great idea.

We leave you on these few photos on which we are wearing these 3 trends with our basics. Again, we shot with the talented Marie in the “Frigos” of Paris which is a former refrigerated warehouse converted into artists’ studios covered with graffiti. Pure street art!
