5 days in Milan

Hi beautiful people,

Guess who are back in Italy ?!

If you follow us on our social medias (INSTAGRAM: @goldenconnexion / SNAPCHAT: gconnexion), we are sure that you have not missed our journey in Milan.

Indeed, we stayed in this beautiful city for 5 days and this time, absolutely everything went well LOL. The least we could say is that it was a very relaxing stay and it had been a long time since we had not gone on holidays. Remember, at the beginning of the year we went to London (Blog post : 5 days in London) … and … this stay was not really relaxing (Ahah the adventures of the Golden team LOL).

The sun was shining everyday like 24 hours a day. We couldn’t ask for more! The temperatures went from 32 to 36 degrees! As a matter of fact we got hot, very hot ahah! Thus, we were so happy to be able to wear our summer clothes freshly bought ( A Milan lookbook is coming on our Youtube channel, make sure to subscribe so that you won’t miss our videos 😉 ).

In terms of accommodation, we opted for an airbnb once again. The apartment (here the link in case you were interested) was clean, located in the center of Milan (Isola district) and 2 minutes away from the subway (1.50 € single ticket, 4.50 € the 24h and 8, 25 € the 48h ticket). We were so happy because the apartment was exactly the same as on the aribnb website and the owner welcomed us warmly, it was perfect !! We were very lucky because we booked it only on the day before our departure (What a great organization isn’t it? LOL).

Although Milan is a charming city, there are far fewer known places to visit compared to Rome (Vlog Rome). Of course, if you have money to spend, there are plenty of luxury shops where you can shop 😉 .

We went to the Galleria Victor Emmanuel II (subway station Duomo), the Leonardo da Vinci Museum (station Duomo), the Sforzesco Castle (station Cadorna), the Arco della Pace (station Lanza).

We took a walk in the Montenapoleone district (station Montenapoleone or San Babila) which is Milan’s luxury fashion and one of the most prestigious district in the city. We also went to the Navigli district (station Porta Genova FS) known for its network of canals perfected by Leonardo de Vinci.

Of course we HAD to taste the delicious gellati (Italian ice cream), they are so delicious !

Finally, we went to the famous Duomo di Milano (station Duomo) that we no longer need to introduce. Its rooftop offers a spectacular view of Milan. Note that the access to the rooftop cost 9 euros by stairs and 13 euros by elevator. As you know us, we choose to climb the 250 steps of the stairs … of course !

In short, we leave you on these few photos captured in Milan. There will be also vlog on our youtube channel beautiful people. Make sure to subscribe 🙂

Have you ever been to Milan? If not, would you like to visit the city?
